^Fair enough. I actually just thought you were mocking me. Original songs of Psalms were not written down music wise, just the words. Guess I jumped to conclusions. I apologize for my post. -

You need a lot more help than the bible can give you. If you're in college, they generally offer free counseling services to all students. If in high school, check in with your guidance counselor.ive never smoked, dont ever intend to, but i do know this-
The fact that you even want to quit and recognize smoking to be a bad habbit, i seriouslyu find that to be awsome. i have two friends at school who smoke weed and they dont want to stop because they like to not have a conciance. they dont drink that im aware of but they have really messed up lives just because of their smoking habbits. dude it may be hard, i know this sounds rediculous and it is cuz im ignorant but, im addicted to porn and i always have to do it when depressed or feeling hopeless. i feel like i could almost say that im just as addicted to sex as you are with smoking. so yeah, at least i have some ideah of what being addicted is like. the worst part is that ive never actually had real sex before, only look @ images while grabbing the sperm out of me. LOL! that is tmi, but you get what im saying. life sucks and we as human being need to get away from it all. im hessitant to say this for many reasons, but ill be praying for you. its the thought that copunts, right? i mean what esle can i do? not like im gonna stop porn anytime soon, how can i help somebody when i cant even help my ownbody.
I'd also suggest you write your posts in MSword before you post them to see just how horrible your spelling is.Edited by Midnight Aurora, 12 March 2010 - 11:39 AM.

i occasionally go clubbing and drinking with my 4 best friends. from ~midnight on I can't even remember what we were doing afterwards, so I'd call that some serious drinking ^^ but we always appoint someone with driving, a thing we take very serious. it's fun times every other week
I smoked weed 2 times, but either they gave us crappy shit or I'm just not that sensitive to drugs - but I didn't really feel anything. I just got hungry. Which really annoyed me, because I've got a diet plan >__> -

It's funny how the world works. But during roughly October of last year I quit smoking, and since I haven't touched a cigarette since, I feel that it is time to revive the topic.
I think it was a change of lifestyle, foremost, that took me from smoking a lot to smoking very little. I lost contact with some really heavy smokers and my girlfriend didn't enjoy it. I kept enjoying up to 5 cigarettes for a while, though. What really took me over the edge was a sinus infection in the Ukraine. We sort of had to bribe a doctor to help me (with surprisingly little money in an envelope!), but she didn't speak english. This took me to researching everything about possible causes and treatments on internet. Well, turns out this stuff is due to repeated exposure to allergens and cigarette smoke. I also read that nicotine can affect antibiotics. So quite simply, I wasn't smoking much and I had to quit for 10 days anyways, and then decided to stick with it.
So I quit much sooner than before my first child!
I didn't find stopping this way particularly hard, btw. What I miss most about smoking is the change of scenery, jumping out to get some fresh air.. it's really nice sometimes to just have an excuse to leave company and think about what's up outside. Even when the company is good! Although I'm probably just reciting research on the subject, that part is probably more addicting than the actual nicotine!
Anyways, we can all see it took me long enough. So better yet, for the kids among us, don't start! Although everyone that starts have heard that phrase, hasn't they. I do think smoking in the Netherlands took quite a hit with the new rules. I don't really know what the results are on raising the prices of them indefinitely, but I will try to stand by old me and keep saying that that and the new rules are unfair!

see this is what is holding me in. i love the excuse to get away from it all and just chill and smoke. there has been times i thought about quitting but then again i enjoy it. cigs are also a good conversation starter when sitting around smoking with people you dont know. yeah cigarettes are no where near good for you, but when you become a smoker it becomes more then that.I didn't find stopping this way particularly hard, btw. i started smoking by going to parties and always asking for cigs when im drunk but got tired of asking people so just bought my own pack. the rest is history. i also started smoking weed around the same time i started smoking cigs so the two go together for me.
i think its just a phase for me and i only live once so im doing it while im young. besides, i never quit at quitting

i started smoking pretty early on age. i was 14 at the time ( i think some dutch users can find themselfs in that too) i smoked cigarets at first.. but after i while started smoking sheg ( with the paper and tobacco in a little bag and you have to make it yourself before smoking) if you smoke that you know it's hard to stop. just because once you get used to making ur own cigaret it feels weird in the fingers if you haven't made one urself for half a day or so.. -

This is the way I look at it! Though I barely smoke cigs, I'm sure everything else I've been doing up to this point in my life in college really isn't worth giving up now. Just think of the experiences and life lessons learned during this time. If I die four years sooner than I would have originally, say 76 instead of 80 because of my lifestyle, why should that be bad if those are four years of great memories with friends?i think its just a phase for me and i only live once so im doing it while im young. besides, i never quit at quitting
