@Jonny: Best Asian styled structure I've seen in LL. :) Is there anything you can't do?

Edit: Woops! not LL, ncso then? Didn't look/think properly. ;)

    srsly guise? guise. srsly.

Great few NCSO screens. Wish I had something to show honestly.

The middlemost landscaping could use some work. Possibly mix in shrubbery/ruins, just to add a bit more detail.

I love what you're doing with this park, btw.

Fantastic work enigma, nice to see you still around :)

Enigma, that looks great! I assume this is NCSO as well? Love this NCSO revolution, curious to give it a try myself.

Love the roof on that coaster station. Like the 1st screen, though it's not mindblowing, just solid stuff. Don't like the choice of brown, and, err... more brown.

I think putting the rest of the roof grey or something should even things out.
  • Austin55%s's Photo
I like the brown roof but the solid grey top floor looks a bit off.
The trees in the 2nd screen suck. I'm guessing you haven't finished foliage yet.

    Hi all,

It's been a while since I've posted. But I've lurked for a week or two now, and for some reason I really wanted to make a working diagonal station, so here it is:

Here you can see the peeps entering the station:

Then they walk to the diagonal train and glitch into their seats:

As you can see, it's a shoestring setup. I couldn't find use of the shoestring like this in the database, so I thought I'd share it. I've started on a different design making use of this, including diagonal brakes, but I'm taking an intersession course unexpectedly over the winter break, so I won't have time to spend on RCT until the summer. Anyhow, sorry for the lack of anything aesthetic, just wanted to show that this was possible! The train stops at nearly the exact same place on the diagonal every loop of the circuit. There's some drawbacks to this setup. However, I thought this technique might inspire some new ideas while I won't be able to work on mine :D/>/>

Cheers NE, thanks for all the joy everyone on this site has given me! I'll post around occasionally until I can get some work together.

Same here ,it's interesting ,but what's the point?
  • Loopy%s's Photo
Nice to see someone else attempting this. It's a shame the game automatically rotates the cars.

Did you manage to get the timings right for the shoestring? I started an air recreation in LL a little while ago with a duel diagonal station and it was an absolute nightmare to get it to stop in the same place every time.

do the trains rotate weirdly on the brake run too? because I'm sure everyone has wanted diagonal brake runs at some point.
  • Louis!%s's Photo
^They rotate weirdly at any point where the train stops on diagonal, they also do it on the widest turns. Ashcombe has a working curved station in the next year's release and unfortunately one car is rotated on the curve.
