I agree, the green/orange combo gives it that little umph needed to make it stand out. :mantis:

    comet, it looks marvellous.

@comet, as you suspect, it could use some actual plant life around the water at the bottom.

    Solo time.

Pictures of Lhakpa-La (means "Yeti" in some sort of language), B&M Dive Coaster in the winterish, icy area:

I thought Dive Machines didnt have car frames for Barrel Rolls :<img src=:' />

I gather it is ment to be an Immelman, which can be found on Griffon and Sheikra

    As for the screens:

    1. Colours are good but there is too much snow. I know that sounds stupid but it looks very flat for all that snow whereas i think an 'expedition everest' style approach is better, where you have mountainous terrain with snow capped peaks. lastly the buildings don't look very themed (or at least not with the name of the diver).

    2. The hole is way too small, more importantly on the face where the train falls. Perhaps get rid of 1 1/4 block in front.

Duh, I know what its supposed to be. But the Dive Machine car frames in rct2 dont support immelmans created with the barrel roll track pieces from what I know.

^Well, I tried to make it look more realistic, so I went with the real Dive Machine cars.

Oh, and RCTFAN, I'll take that into account.
  • RCTFAN%s's Photo
Lol Chiller, when you said frames I thought you were talking about the actually structure of the cars, not the animation frames.

Your immelman is twisting the wrong way, unless you intend to have a weird intamin-ish roll out of it.

    Guess the game:

You'd be wrong. This is just a "quick" job, meaning that I didn't put much thought into it (though it took me about an hour and a half, and is still hiding an uncompleted backside).

    L.L.L.L.

Edit: aww... i just noticed the one barrel on the corner is a 1/4 tile off.

arc de triophe? It could gbe both games - nothing that really sticks out to give a hint.
I really don't know but i see a whole lot of work went into that thing.

    MA that's brilliant.

MA, what did you use for the roof?

MA, what did you use for the roof?

It's a path with the sides lowered and deleted to give the full tile effect.

It looks amazing either way MA. Good job. I have no idea what game its from and what the theme is though.

Well for one thing the tower sections are mazes stacked up. So i'm guessing LL but i may be wrong.
  • ][ntamin22%s's Photo
it's LL alright, and it's a damn fine peice of work. i'm not quite getting how you did the fence-less path roof, but the rapids for the arch and the hour and a half build time gave it away.
you probably could've made the rapids sloped-to-level to make it more arch-like if thats what you were going for, but i won't nitpick on something like this.
  • Gwazi%s's Photo
I don't understand how you couldn't tell which game this is. 1) MA's always doing stuff like this in LL, and 2) If you look closely you can see that the brick walls are mazes stacked up.

It's brilliant work, though, MA. :D

yeah guys it's really fucking obvious it's ll.

anyway the arc de triomphe is about as good a guess as any, but i don't think that's quite it.
    some other famous arch!
