It's great, but I'm not feeling the Vegasy Egypt thing....To me it's more of a strange...Sahara...island...feel. -

I agree with you, hxzero - add some of Fisherman's lights! Vegas is all about the neon. -

I am liking that screenshot. GOD I hate repeating peoples' posts, I am going to pull an rctfan1556...
The round windows ruin it. Ack... okay... got that out... anyways...
I like all the detail, not too crowded, or plain.
Perfect. -

Okay...this was an experimental area for me, so I will definitely be making some changes based on the responses here.
1. Foremost, the round windows....I agree that they need to be changed and kinda kill the Egyptian feel I was looking for. They will be replaced with something better I promise
2. I will be changing some colors. The green will probably be replaced with white or light brown to maintain the Vegasy Egyptian feel I'm looking for....
3. Most importantly....Jacko THANK YOU....you tipped me off to Fisherman's neon light objects. I downloaded them last night and am loving them, absolutely perfect for this park. The problem is I was not aware of them while in the scenerio editor....so....luckily, after much trial/error, I was able to get these objects into my existing scenerio using the ObjectCreator and DImport utilities, and btw, if anyone ever needs to know how to do this, let me know, I'd be happy to explain.....but anyway, now I have neon lights for this park which opens a whole new door to capturing the Vegas theme I wanted.....I'm very excited about this....so please dis-regard most of the last screen, the coasters and most of the archy will stay, but the rest will be getting a makeover.....thanks again Jacko, I think you really have salvaged this being a Vegas park for me, seriously....I also may re-do the entrance now that I have actual Vegas theming objects....any additional comments would be great....thanks to all who have commented and stay-tuned for new & improved screens.... -

Although the green doesnt look like egypt, i do like it. And i think making the round yellow windows a brown, or dull red might look better. The coaster looks awsome from what i can see.
What colour are those flowers? They could help enhance the feel of that area, if you want to post that screen again with better handymen -

J, the people who said that it doesn't look like egypt are correct. However, it does look like a Vegas interpretation of Egypt, in which I think you executed perfectly regardless if you were trying or not. Vegas is sort of a cartoony, "fun" representation of what its hotels/attractions theme to, and accuracy isn't always their biggest concern. Take the luxor for example; the pyramid part is like half the size of the great pyramid at Giza (not sure exactly, but I know its smaller) but the sphinx that acts as its entrance is like 3 times the size of the real thing. In the little malls inside hotels like Caesars, Venetian, and Aladdin, things are based on accuracy but easily bent for a good atmosphere, which I think you've captured here. The round windows are fine imo and add to that "fun" atmosphere. -

Well despite what Phatage said about the round windows, I really dont think that they were doing anything for the feel I am going for in this area. Thanks to Jacko's comment, I was able to import several fisherman objects into my park that really fit a Vegas theme. Here are two screens with some of those objects...lights,lights,lights...they look better in game being they are animated....I've also made some color changes....I need to know if you feel the Vegas theme....thanks... -

The Blue Moon slots stick out a lot but they work.
2nd screen: Still looking good. -

I'm not too keen on the king tut area...
but I LOVE YOUR CIRCUS CIRCUS HOTEL!:D:D:D:D

The King Tut area is almost there... I'd check out the Luxor Hotel/Casino a bit more, thats how to make egypt meet vegas, AND make it look good.
I'm getting the egyptian, but not the vegas, and its the vegas theme that actually defines this park.
But yes, Circus Circus is gorgeous.
Y'all rock. -

I haven't posted in this topic yet, but i'd just like to say that i think you are one of the most exciting prospects for parkmaker at the moment, everything you do shows incredible improvement, and, apart from the last screen and the first green one, i really love this park. You seem to look into the theme you create very fully, and everything you create has a wonderful feel to it.
Keep this up, you'll be a parkmaker before H2H3 is out... -
