JKay, just curious, what is the height level of the river at the bottom of the dam (the numbers you can see in "Height Marks on Land")? -

Panic - I thinks its like -10ft.....why?....anyway, regarding your first comment, dont forget that Im going for a Vegasy re-creation of Hoover Dam here, not nessecarily an accurate replication of it, so I'm not making it any bigger. Its just the right size (...thats what she said, lol). As far as the coaster layout, it wont change...Ive tinkered with it so much already that Im finally happy with it and my goal was to make it interact with the dam scenery without cluttering the screen, so...about the station, I like the edge tile of the station showing...I tried covering it up, but it didnt look right....I like the fact that you can see the station followed by the sudden plunge, increases the excitement factor IMO....
Foozy, no pun intended (dont care for the damn screen??...)
Ed....I think I know what youre getting at with the voodoo comment, but who knows....hmmmm
Thanks everyone else for all the other comments.... -

The reason why I asked is I was contemplating a potential water-coaster ride to suggest in place of the black coaster. But you're happy with the coaster in place and that's what counts. Despite my earlier comments, I like how it follows the side of the valley and I think the overall screen turned out very well. (I just think that cutback's gonna hurt.) And yes, I realize the dam is about right for size. In spite of what I've said about it being loud, I'm looking forward to being blown away by this park. -

Well you're replacing voodoo on Micool's H2H team and I felt bad about him losing one of his top team members, but having seen these screens I think you're actually an improvement. -

i am speechless too, this is just so amazing. the street is very cool, but the houses are so nerby... however the hoover kicks ass -

1st screen: Wow, I am speechless. This screen has so much atmosphere, the architecture is just so good, and I like what you did with the motion simulators which were a nice touch!
I see you even put in a steak house.
2nd screen: I like how you built the Hoover Dam but the only thing I don't like is how the coaster runs around it. I like you should hide the hill coming in to the barrel roll then if you really want to go on the bottom of the dam, then make the cutback like a straight peice or maybe a rickety bridge type thing going to the other side because the cutback doesn't look too good down there. -

Ill bump this for ya
The last 2 screens are cool, although the coaster looks like it could do with some more work. The cut back over the water looks odd, and so does the sudden drop/climp after/before the zero g roll. Just my personal taste on that. I love what you did with the simulators though. -

The Dam screen is both brilliant and hideous...
Certainly the Dam itself is great and it looks really nice, but the coaster... Kind of looks ugly; especially with the huge inline roll over the front, it takes the awe away from the shot... Which is what you want as thats what people feel when they see the dam itself.
You need to have a "gasp moment" where attention focuses completely on the Dam itself, which you don't have in that screen. -

I would like to see that.I was going back through topics earlier, and I found a VERY old topic you made. With a bright green brick with yellow windows all spaced out perfect, and helixes incased in a large ugly abstract box

I disagree. The awe I feel when looking at the screenshot is not diminished by the coaster roll, it's actually enhanced by the thought of peeps riding through it and looking "up" into the raging water below. I'd gladly give up my isometric aerial shot for the chance to give someone else the best seat in the house. I guess that's why I'm looking forward to RCT3, but I appreciate the effort in RCT2 also.Certainly the Dam itself is great and it looks really nice, but the coaster... True. I still think he should put a barrel roll or a straight piece on the bottom

and hide the hills going into the 1st barrel roll cause it will look better and not outta place.
I am looking forward to Rct 3 and am praying we can look at our Rct 2 parks with custom scenery in Rct 3.
I am just thinking of what this and many other rides will look like in 3D.
