What's the first thing you think of when someone says "Nokia"? It was a popular phone in the ninety's, and still remains in this age of iPhones and Blackberries. But today, the word "Nokia" takes on a whole new meaning. Nokia can do a lot more than the phone that shares his name, as is evident by his Accolade Panel status. He made his debut at the now defunct RCTAvenged, and later served as one of the Minutemen in Head-2-Head 5. Now, Nokia can add his name to the long list of accolade winners with his first NE release, Barkwood Amusement Park! Read On...
Here at New Element, we expect there to be new faces continually joining the site, picking up the game and garnering the community’s respect, eventually winning accolades. However the community has also been repeatedly surprised with older members making a comeback, with new skills but also retaining that old school touch. Our newest Bronze winner, rk_, has done just that. His stunning piece of work, Sandstone Amusements, brings viewers into a beautiful park which really captures that warm, nostalgic feel. Read On...
Throughout NE’s history, there have always been underrated parkmakers, those whose work stays fantastically consistent and high-quality, despite not being one of the most prominent members on the forums. Fisch has been around for years, already pocketing two NE designs with Buccaneer and Morded, both “vanilla” designs without custom scenery. Since then, Fisch participated in RCT Majesty’s Silver accolade, Majestic Paradise, and was a member on the H2H5-winning Hurricanes, winning in Week 2, along with JDP, for ImaginIt. During this period, he advertised a design, but eventually needed help with finishing it. After cycling through multiple members, Fisch finally found someone who stuck. Cena, another ex-Majesty member, finished the last bits of the design, which is now presented to you, faithful NE followers, as NE’s newest design, Nautílos. Read On...
Sure, we've all come to expect to see releases from the familiar names here at NE gracing the front page. But, every once in a while we get something unexpected from the member ranks. Recently, the Place-to-Release-Your-Parks Land has been swamped with the release of unfinished projects. Unfortunately, some of these projects have been from robbie92, the exceptionally talented member that has shown amazing promise with his several releases, including a design and two great parks in H2H5. He had also been receiving the reputation of posting too many screens, and then not finishing these projects. Well, no more will robbie92 travel this path. He seems to have gone a new route, and is now pleasantly surprising us with projects showing up on the front page, instead of screens in the advertising district. Here is Rangda, robbie92's newest finished design! Read On...
