The woody looks nice though ,but where's all the refinement?

What's going on man? I voted 40 but that should've been lower, looking back. There really is nothing to see here, except for the coaster and a few buildings, none of them good looking.

    oh..what a generous panelists.

What happened with you after Cheetaka? This just looked like a complete waste of your time to me.

I'll explain. I had 16 hours of a bus ride going to and from a swim meet and I wanted to build something real quick on Xtremes new bench. I shouldn't have submitted this as I knew it wouldn't win but I had fun building it and, personally, I love the coaster. Hudson Crossings is much, much better than this, I just needed to take a quick break from it.

If you had a few more rides or someting else to look at it might have won. I really like the coaster. too bad, this had potential

    I feel that if I built that, I wouldn't get a 45%.

    This.

This is what people forget. This is why the community needs to be knocked of its high horse every once in awhile.

If you had fun building it, then that's all that matters. I think people tend to forget that, especially when they consider themselves to be the elite, or upper crust of players. It happened with me and RCT3 a bit...but then I took a step back, and thought: "Holy moley...I was acting like a total jerk over something really pointless."

After that, I learned to appreciate people's work a lot more, even if it wasn't as refined or "mind-blowing". Mainly, I learned to give thoughtful, un-biased, and nice criticism...instead of snarkily posting a fiery comment tearing to shreds a screen simply because it didn't meet my standards.

I like the layout by the way. Its features resemble those an early CCI coaster.

No one - NO ONE - is suggesting anyone not play for the fun of it. But there is a competitive side of the community. No one is questioning why Maverix built it, merely why he bothered to submit it for points.

Honestly, if you expanded this with a few more buildings and put some time into developing a good landscaping/foliage scheme, this would be my favorite design from you. Despite what others have said, I love the archy in this; it breaks from your standard mold that you go for, and I found the elements to come together in ways that they don't usually do in your work. The layout was awesome too. Good job!

We're the last remaining strong LL/Rct2 community because we don't get down off our high horse, so no, we're fine up here.

What people forget is that competitive submissions are meant for sincere and serious projects where you're actually trying to achieve something and ask 15 people to look and vote at your park while you're being hopeful to win.

This is not something for "I was in a bus for a day and mocked it up". Just send it in as a non-competitive submission, and it'll still take the people supporting this site their time to make the file ready and offer it free of charge for others to download, while also creating a map so "the public" even considers it necessary to look at it.

^^ I'll agree on that ,well said.

Building for fun is fine though ,but don't expect an accolade for nothing.

I honestly think that coaster layout is designworthy. However, I feel like you've wasted the coaster's potential as well as the voter's time by making a bit of a joke out of the rest. Why not put another 16 hours in later on, and give us something great to look at?.. It's not like there's a deadline on submissions...

I can agree with rob here on a few levels, mav. The layout and architecture definitely design worthy, but this submission seems to severely lack most (or even all) of the basics. Nothing came together, neither to create a cohesive/atmospheric theme nor did anything intergrated. It was simply the architecture and then the coaster. Planning and path structure was painful as well. Nothing besides parts of the coaster itself has any kind of flow to it.

This would be a 30-35 from me (that is if I could vote)

That's nonsense. When voting, I had no idea who'd build this and personally I thought this was the first submission of a brand new member.

    I like it.

I rate this <3 <3 on my love scale. Congratulations.
