Wow, this was truly stunning, Pac. The layout was great and the buildings were brilliant, and there were tons of small details. Just when I thought I'd seen everything, BAM, I found something else. What I liked most about it was that you still kept it realistic. I know I'm probably the minority, but I prefer realistic parks, and this felt extremely believable for a Busch style park.

Also, has anyone else won RCT2 Player of the Year two years in a row? I think when Starpointe is released it will lock up the title again for Pac.

IT'S ONLY APRIL PEOPLE. I will win it this year.

finish something nin, I dare you!

great design pac, although it's a shame I've seen it all before on the streams, didn't give it that initial wow that I usually get from opening a file...

A very nice design, but from Pac I expected a lot more. This is not even close to the level of DAW. I would also say Lijiang and Schwarzwald were better.

Where are the frozen peeps that made DAW so much fun? Where is the trackiteckture?

Worst of all, the coaster needs a patch to work right. That's why I could not go 80 on this. Rides should not need a patch. Just get in touch with any good hacker and you won't need it.

The atmosphere is pretty good, and I liked all the peeps. It's some nice work, but I did expect a lot more from a Pac release.

That's why I don't watch the streams, as much as I want to watch Pac build. I like the surprise and the "wow" you said you didn't get.

    What does ruishi mean? :X/>

In the readme it says: "Ruishi is named after the Celestial Snow Lion of Tibet that symbolizes fearlessness and unconditional cheerfulness."

Really good work Pac. I feared that the details and realism would get in the way of atmosphere, but it didn't.

I have purposely not watched the streams but I feel like I've seen about everything on this design from the screens already. It looks really good though. Congratulations on the Design.

    Dave, that logo is superb!

to say "just don't watch the streams" is dumb. I don't watch them anymore to see Pac building, i watch them to hang out with Pac and other members of NE, and those not watching to not see Pac's park are missing out on some good times.

All i said was, if Pac could manage doing a side project and a stream project, that would be the best for all. Or, Streaming larger parks, like Starpointe. The shear size of that park has meant that even watching the streams i know there is alot i want to explore on my own. This design was just too small for the stream not to be all revealing.

I seriously don't think people are appreciating just how good this design is. I mean seriously.

^I think most of us already did via the stream :p

First off I would like to thank all of the people that were present during the streams. You all have been very supportive and it's great having the ability to do these kinds of things. For those who didn't want to stop by because you didn't want to be spoiled upon release, I can understand that. I really enjoy conversing with you all over a variety of topics and intend to continue the live streaming in the future. However, I will be streaming Starpointe until its completion then I will start my next solo in which I will not stream that. But I will most likely, have a design or some sort of side project that I will show.

Secondly, I would like to thank the prep team for getting this submission released in a timely fashion. In particular 5dave for one hell of a logo. It captures and symbolizes exactly what I wanted this design to represent. Thanks again Dave. Phenomenal work as usual.

Lastly, I would like to thank the rest of the community for downloading and providing feedback. Constructive criticism is a great way for us to enhance our parkmaking skills and I appreciate every last comment.

i gotta agree. as great of an idea the streams were, they held back the score a bit. regardless, beautiful design.

I really enjoyed this Pac. I'm glad you're introducing more themes into your work, and I hope you continue that trend! I can see an amazing busch gardens style park coming out of you...

This is so fucking cool. I tried watching the streams a few times but alas the twitch ap on my ipad doesn't seem to work. I've told them about but still just a black screen. I hope they fix it soon. I really want to get in on one of these love sessions.

    Wow!

    Truly beautiful...

The swing ride is probably the first custom swing ride that i really admired, it's probably because of the fine detailing, i don't know really, but it draw my attention immediately.
Only downside is that i've got to imagine the bars swinging, but making them swing isn't possible of course. Safety measures however.... :p
The main ride is short but not boring, it has a perfect flow, just perfect, as if everything was intended, good work.

The architecture isn't really my taste, but it's perfectly executed, again nice work.

Overall, a very impressive design with lot's of eye for detail.

Congratulations with the well deserved score and a memorable design.

Maybe this has been addressed already, but why wasn't Pac awarded any points for this?
  • Maverix%s's Photo
The admins have to update the points manually I believe. I guess they just haven't gotten around to it yet.
