Absolutely beautiful. I love that African area. One nitpick, I suggest changing the colour from the planter walls to a lighter colour to make them stand out more.
Hmm...i'm not sure about this. Maybe it's the sheer amount of foliage or the colours it seems overgrown but in the wrong way(?) In that the lighter colours of the foliage don't work necessarily with the amount/density of it.
Also seems a little too dense for Africa no? Even if it is more of a transitional area.
It's definitely a strong start, though the foliage mix has way too many disparate elements, I feel. It's best when the foliage frames your rides/archy, but with this many colours, textures, and densities, it's threatening to swallow your work whole.
Still, this is really refreshing, and makes me eager to see where the park will go next!
I really like the path transitions, they look great. But I feel like it's really on the edge of becoming a bit too much. The architecture is also really nice. Overall great screen.
I agree with all the comments so far. I would lose some foliage between the enterprise and Africa building in favor of some theming or more architecture.
Thanks for the comments guys, I'm still trying to learn how to do theming without making it stale or sameish. This is probably the first time I've ever put any effort into theming so the positive feedback is encouraging.
I'll work on the foliage a bit, I do want to keep the heavy treed areas and the bamboo shoots, but the grass and flowers in the african are will be modified. Its also a probable that I'll rebuild the African area completely at some point, as I'm still juggling what level of theme I really want in the park. Plus, TBH, the area is really poorly planned and probably could benefit from another ride or so.
I do think the Oriental area will be much better though, some more progress was made after I posted this and I'm very excited about it.
I think you should definitely keep the brown grass and bamboo shoots, indeed. I think if you change the default foliage mix to something not as textured, dense and busy (it's very, very 'loud'), the area-specific touches such as the bamboo and grass will prosper! The yellowish tree and the oak tree are the worst offenders, but some brighter colours for my large tree also would help. They look like it hasn't rained in months. Oh, I'm not sure if having pink and dark pink flowes so close to each other works: cut the screen diagonally and it looks like each half was made by someone else, or as if someone applied different filters to the screens in photoshop. Top is dark and sharp/clean, bottom is desaturated and messy. Consider dark blue flowers for the African area. Or at least something that is not that much lighter than the dark pink flowers.

I like the architecture and pathins, it's simple and effective. I don't like the foliage however, it's a bit too much.
