The fuck are you talking about? I was saying your screen is good. Are you delusional? I didn't start anything at all.

Just because you complimented his screen doesn't mean you weren't starting shit.

"GForce you see what I mean by getting low ratings on a decent/above average screen. Its nothing wrong with this but it got low rating?"

You didn't give any feedback or critique, you're not helping him improve, you're not helping him in any way. You merely complained about how he was getting critiques on how to improve and that the rating was too low.... let's not go down this road AGAIN. (edit by Liampie: agreed, let's leave it at this)

About the screen itself: it's pleasant but rather plain. Needs a little more flavor if it's really Mediterranean themed. The enterprise is nicely done though, and I'm looking forward to seeing the reworking of the area.

I really like the area around the enterprise, although I dont like the cfr at all. The texture just doesn´t fit in the game imo :/

I like the italian buildings themselve, but they looks very much out of place. Like someone (stoksy?) said before, without a clear change of foliage, path or general style of the park they just dont fit in.

I actually did, scroll up a bit more you can see I said its a very mellow area compared to what he usually makes. And to G Force, you got some problems if you think I started shit. I said you deserve more than 50% and you come attack me. Weird.

Any more of this discussion will result in a three day ban.

I always feel like you use the same foliage, path types and fences. That's why your work appears technical and generic.

In the spirit of civil disobedience I'm going to chime in and say that despite the antics in the previous screen, that I completely missed as well, chemist was unfairly dogpiled on here and some people willfully ignored a very reasonable comment by him to further an agenda attacking him. This is unacceptable behavior from any member, veteran or otherwise. It is clear that some who feel they've earned the right will poke people who have shown to have a short fuse.

NE used to be way more acrimonious on a regular basis with many members over the years pulling stunts and bickering. People like Ozone, ride6, Kumba, K0NG and me all started off clawing our way into the community, sometimes in a overly hostile way. For the most part things eventually mellowed out and we all became productive members, but I'm noticing some thin skin from the current veteran membership that is completely intolerant of anyone coming in "copping an attitude". imo ignoring it is preferable to threats of bans for very minor transgressions, and I don't care whose screen gets shitted up. Version1 got away with fucking up whole H2H threads and quite frankly, I'm seeing a lot of hypocrisy with this tough attitude from admins all of a sudden.

I've had major issues with thought and language policing from the  current admin team and I've expressed it similarly in the past.

I accept my 3 day ban with grace. Peace out.

Technically, great. But the composition, while I get your going for a more realistically spaced out park, doesn't translate into rct well. It's like the in-game heights, it just doesn't look proper to the eye. And as posix mentioned, it's not very organic, which essentially means it's too locked to the grid. You can get away with 'gridiness' with a vibrant theme, but here it's too generic to not include curves and hiding blocky elements of the game. Still, clearly well built but the talent has no inspiration behind it.

I guess I like everything about this park that others don't seem to. This screen isnt exceptional or anything but its very good. I think perhaps the placement of things is a bit scattered, and thats the issue. Like someone who gets multiple tattoos all over there body, rather than just getting one large coherent one or something. The coaster, apartment, paths and flat ride are all good on thier own but somehow lack cohesion. I think the apartments scale is a bit overwhelming to, considering the rest of the park is rather small, but rather than shrink the apartment I'd make more larger buildings as part of the euro area to help it fit in.

Do you honestly think the coasters in this screen are good? It's literally two 180 degree turns and even that makes it sounds more exciting than it really is. I'd consider that mini drop on the arrow bad even, looks so awkward.
  • Louis!%s's Photo

The architecture is weak, everything else is spot on.

Like Liam said, the turn on the arrow is a bit awkward with the drop like that, I get what you are trying to go for there though, so I can excuse that somewhat.

I would agree that the childrens coaster could be made much better and more interesting.

He area is pretty. But rather boring.
  • nin%s's Photo

For sure this isn't much of a screen-worthy area of the park, just some path, trees, a flat and a coaster brake run.

Not a big fan of the low brick wall lining the path, feel like that locks in everything and there's a better fence out there to make it feel more open (and possibly more organic).

I also commend you for starting another comment war, somehow.
