How cheesy it may be, maybe you should start advertising via google adds. Just aask for a favour from the members by letting them click a couple of adds a day. That way you can get more money in, I believe that's the way it works, doesn't it?All in all money is the big problem.
I like the ideas. -

Well even tho I can't update the actual sites parkmaker section (atm) I have started adding "NE Parkmaker" to some peoples member titles and updateing spotlight counts on there too. For an example please check out Turtle, JKay, Artist and Fatha' new member titles. Im just gona do this with people who are clearly NE Parkamakers now (tho for some reason one of my fav LL peeps of all time Twisted was listed as a member and I can't see any reason for that with the Spotlight he won not that long ago and a hell of an LL park so I upgraded him). I will try to have all these done soon.
As far as contests go we will decide exactly what to do after H2H4 is finished up. -

seriously, is money such a problem?
america is the country of big bandwidth and internet speed. kinda hard to imagine you can't find a fair-priced host.
Kumba, although a little unimportant, but well done on the member titles. it's something i used to bug cork with a lot
i'd like to have info about people's former nicknames too. too many have changed it and i hardly recognise anyone here nowadays. if you need any help, i'll do jobs.Edited by posix, 18 September 2006 - 09:48 AM.

All Norweigans seem to have enormous girth, bandwith wise.

as long as you use this logo for ne3, you'll be in good shape.
That is all; have a good one.Edited by `sfkstyle, 18 September 2006 - 12:37 PM.

step one: give everyone chocolate chip cookies.
thenn.... i dunno.
pardon my blaspheming, but if NE is low on webspace i'd say the parkmaker pages should be first to go.
wait, scratch that, the unused/unnecessary frontpage stuff goes first. I.E. contests, group parks, walkthroughs, h2h.
they can all be moved/downsized to forums or something. -

Functionally the site is fine but some new graphics would be cool, this site has looked exactly the same since I first registered. -

I think Kumba should get the Admin Wars things going as the next Contest after H2H, that is, if it's not already going... -

I think we need some sort of gap after H2H and the next major event, because we had the ProTour2, which went on for nearly a year, and then straight after H2H. In which time i don't have any time to work on my solo. I'd give people a few months to see off any solo work so we can get some amazing spotlights and runner-ups in, because thats what i want to be seeing more than anything else.
NE3 needs to get up sooner rather than later, with complete parkmaker pages including all the new parkmakers. I think Kumba/iris/cork should do an updated version of the list, because i think within the past 3 years there have been parks waaaay better than some of those on the list. In fact, to make it fair, maybe we should have a seperate list for LL and RCT2? Cos i dont really see how people can put them in the same category myself, both very different games with very different results.

Sucks really, Ouest would have been No.1
hmm i still think it should be even if unfinished -

I think a seperate RCT2 and LL list would be great, but both of those and a combined definitive list would be even better! -

One simple idea i want to throw in.
I think all the LL runner ups, and Spot lights should be on there own page. And RU and SL for rct2 should be on their own page. Because there was a few times where i open a link hoping it was a rct2 park but it was a LL. Its not a big problem, but it will sort things out a bit imo.
And as for newer park makers and "noobs", there should be a page explaining on how to become a better park maker and what to do, and what to to do, etc. Because for some one to tell a new park maker to look at SL and RU's, it messes with there heads and they think way to hard about it. It might work and give them ideas(?) but they compare their parks to one of the great parks and they just can't manage it. I hope that make sense (basicly they try to hard, it happend to me before).

The top paragraph is a good idea, I like that one.
The bottom, not so good. If there was a page explaining how to build better parks by a certain parkmaker, then that certain parkmaker would tell people how to build the way that (s)he does, which would then mean that then everyone would be building the same and nothing would be new. But by telling people to look at parks that are better than theirs, they can take ideas from it and build upon them, expanding they're skill, but also expanding the little details in parks. What I mean by that is look at a park from a few years ago that was considered incredible. Maybe RoB. Then compare it with parks of now. Maybe Isole Calabria. I think that the later has many many more ideas and little details. This is because (imo), people look at parks like RoB and think "That looks good", so they try to copy it. But it doesn't work out completely correct, but then they realise it still looks quite good, so they try to add more to it to make it more and more interesting.
Meh, I don't know what I was ranting about then...I'm in a ranting mood tonight... -

Also, not every noob want to get better at the game...
I think topics in the forums are enough for this kind of situation... -

I would not count on LL and RCT2 being givin there own areas, I don't see why there can't be compared or co-exist as they have here all along.
