I would really like to go see a show sometime now that I have a car, but there is NO ONE playing in the Charlotte area in the near future. I am, however, going to see WWE Monday Night Raw on June 14th does that count?

"Talent" is just an excuse not to do something. Someone might be better at it or quicker to learn it, but the deciding factor is determination to do it. (Practice enough and you can be a damn good basketball player at 5'7". Sure, you might not be as good as if you were 7' and put in the same practice, but that's not the point.)-ACE

Just saw this and I'm gonna disagree wholeheartedly.
"Talent" is something that you're either given at birth or not. Talent can be developed or one can simply ride said talent to nothing. If you can't sing, no amount of practice, determination or hard work will magically create new vocal cords that suddenly sound like God. If you have no pre-determined inclination towards anything, you CAN NOT, by practice and hard work, somehow develop what it takes to be even decent at anything. A 5'7" person with no coordination...no matter HOW hard he works at it, cannot become even a halfway decent basketball player.There are people that spend year upon year...here...trying to become decent RCT players and will just never get there. You have to have something in your blood that allows you to progress at what you're attempting. It's a given.

We Are Scientists at the Middle East downstairs on July 13th. They've come around like four times already and I finally managed to bother getting tickets.

*The Antlers + Blitzen Trapper + Yeasayer + MGMT + Arcade Fire - August 8th @ Lollapalooza (bought just a Sunday ticket, mostly for the Arcade Fire but the lineup throughout the rest of the day on that stage is quite decent as well, thoughout!)
