    Third one! Third one!

Perhaps I should rephrase that. I meant what would you like to see that's already in the park. I think by now there's a pretty good indication of what's in the park, so what would you like the next screenshot to be of. As for a cyclone ride, it crossed my mind, but never got done since I didn't think it fit so well in the park.

I'm glad everybody really enjoys the update. This was the first building that looks like this, so I'm trying to add some of the same details to some other ones in the park, specifically the entrance area.

I'd like to see a bit more of Bizarro--maybe the station and entrance area. That would be cool.

And as for the new screen, it's good. I think the way the queue and path blend together bothers me a bit. I've also never liked the look of those disco rides in RCT2, but that's just a personal preference. Rest looks really nice man. Good stuff.

As Turbin3 mentioned, the foliage isn't that great.

    Posted Image

Transitions between bare land and foliage isn't as smooth as it can be.

    Blank space under the trees!

Bad transitions and too much bare land under those trees on the right, those at the top and those behind the station.

    Bare land under the trees!

Bare land isn't always bad but in this case it looks unfinished. I hope it is. In the second screen (breakdance) it actually hurts the atmosphere.

(Also, if you have any requests for the next update, let me know!)

I would like to see some of the entrance please. :)

Id fix that waterslide bowl, perhaps make an object? That 'twist' bobsleigh ride could be better. aside from that-you've made Perfection! (thus far)

^^Liampi, you do know that bare space under trees exists in real life, right?
  • SSSammy%s's Photo
i beleive that he is leaning towards the fact that it looks untidy and lazy atm rather than what you are insinuating.

    Yes. As I said:

I know what you mean, but how do you decide when it is or isn't bad?

For instance, I love the foliage in the Blizzard River screen. It's all just a matter of preference I think, not a matter of whether or not it is finished.
  • SSSammy%s's Photo
its the preference part of it that decides whether it looks "finished" or not.
cause of course, a park can never be finished.

I'd really like to see more of the vekoma flyer to be honest because I haven't seen many good ones done in this game so I'm really curious you've build one

Yeah I guess that makes sense--however its ultimately CP6's preference that counts. There's nothing wrong with his foliage, it's just not how some people think it should be.

And by the way, why does nobody start sentences with capital letters anymore? Just press the shift key. Not too difficult.

It's like people go out of their way to convey the idea they don't give a shit.

^Yes because nobody like labels and everyone now thinks it's cool to be independent. However, people faking to be independent and that are not setting their own trends are called followers. A very common event that's taking place here at New Element lately.

wait, so you guys think im trying to be all cool by not using capital letters?
well i think you guys are copying off MA cause he uses capital letters, u damn followrz
  • RRP%s's Photo
I try to use capital letters and correct grammer but most of the time its just a quick comment that i dont even re-read.Its all about time i guess and the faster the reply the poorer the english.

As for the update it looks great as usual.Cant wait to see the full wild mouse as the support work looks great. The problem i think people are having with the foliage is due to the lack of variety with the bushes. The dark green and blue shrubs work nice but it could use some smaller bushes either of the same variety or of a different one. Just to make the transitions smoother
  • Comet%s's Photo
Thanks for reposting all the screens right next to each other Liampie, it reminded me how amazing this park is
  • RamSam12%s's Photo
The poor grammar does not really bother me that much. When I post a reply to something, it's something thought out and not a quick comment that I don't even have time to press the shift key before posting.

As for the foliage, I still do not understand why bare space is such a problem with people here. When I'm building, I use the foliage to help show the age of a ride. In real life, things take time to grow. For example, on my Woodfall project, the older area of my park with the log flume and mine train coaster will have a shit ton of trees and undergrowth around the trees because it is nearly 40 years old, whereas the newer rides may have just a few bushes, small trees, or nothing but grass underneath. Some people will go to pieces when they see it, but that's just how realistic park building goes.

With that being said, CP6, your foliage is fine for the most part. I like the open feel of Blizzard River, yet the bare spots under the log flume look like they could use some work. Of course, it's been a while since you posted that screen and I'm sure everything will look great when this is done!. Keep up the good work dude!
  • Jaguar%s's Photo

^ Please no on the first one! There is a reason why that coaster is no longer around. Over the years, it became a real pain to ride.

Not the viper, the viper is as smooth as butter and it has a cyclone layout. I would rate the viper 9/10 because it has almost as much airtime as the Voyage (exageration) and tons of head choppers, and what about the classic at Astroland?
