Well, I motivated on this game.. so you need to watch this screens.

In this city(in this game), every buildings has the same colors.
and I saw many pictures about europe's buildings to study it.(to make this park.)

Many korean RCT players likes "One theme(& One Color) Park", because it gives them consistency & stability.
Also, many traiditional buildings in korea, they has same colors and architecture.

p.s. "The Big Gate" is "Big", because I tried to make it originally.

The images in your post have much more variety than you rct screens.
What im trying to say is your park lacks variety. I understand your trying to keep it consistent by using a single theme throughout. There are no real defining features of each building and therefore i fined my self just skimming whole areas and not paying attention to anything.

Here are good examples of the opposite pic1 pic2 . Each building has distinct characteristics yet still gives off a overall consistent theme.

Zenosbleed, please, could you ask freerider if he could upload some of his other creations and the flying island?I'm sure I'm not the only one whos craving for more of his work.

Ahh;; Now I understand what you saying, and thanks for the examples.

it is hard for me(and most korean players) to catch up NE's style T_T
(but many korean players says "do we have to make realism style park?")

we used to make fantasy or our own style park, so it'll be hard to make it realism styles.

Anyway, I'll study more about it and it'll be better(in realism) in my next park.
(I want to make it again in this park, but it'll be too long time..)
(and I remaking this park already -> Old version)

thanks for your help again :)

    I'm sorry.. - FR(FreeRider), He didn't show up even in RCTschool recently..(about 2 weeks)
I'll ask him, but don't expect about it.(I think he is busy because of something)

Aren't the supports supposed to be turned the other way instead of outward in turns?

I never knew how that worked in physics but I see all NE players do it..

    Well except for the koreans.
I actually thought the supports were supposed to be turned outward too. To support the track when the car came at a speed and pushed the track with the car's force out ward..

Somebody gimme a course in roller coaster supports. Or correct me if outward supports are okay as well.

Could you say it korean?
I think I can translate it, but I can't understand about it.

About you feeling forced to do realism... we don't want to force anything on you but he suggested only to try and get your buildings to look more individual than they are atm, if you want to try realism I'd say go for it you don't "have" to do anything...

It will be interesting to see what you guys do with realism. But complete fantasy like your's are amazing and a lot of fun to look at. We don't want you to be adapted to NE where you build the same stuff all the time. Just a few minor variations at the most. Fantasy is dying at NE. You guys need to bring more!

But although like I said. It'll be interesting to see how you guys do realism

I agree, stick with fantasy and keep inspiring us!

    Ahh;; It's just a problem of my english skill;;
I'll try to make realistic style, but I'll not throw away my own style.

    OMG, it's true.
I think the forces works outward, so I made supports to outward..
but now I'm confused because all the real coaster's have opposite ways..

thanks for your comments, and I didn't said "I'll throw away my own fantasy style." :)

Building the supports inwards saves time and money by having to drill and fill less footers is my assumption to why they do it. With steel being solid as well . A pulling force or a pushing force doesn't make much of a difference on the supports im guessing

    Attached Image: supports.jpg

Phatage or CP6 are the people to ask though. Their coaster knowledge far surpasses mine

Zenosbleed: I wasn't suggesting that you try and make your parks more realistic before, simply trying to help you reduce repetition throughout your park

Just to maybe clear this whole support thing up:

Here's a B&M with inside supports (as seen on most large elements, most likely to save money as RRP said) - http://rcdb.com/4253.htm?p=27242

    Here's a B&M with a mixture of both - http://rcdb.com/557.htm?p=607

It doesn't matter which way they go, that's most likely decided by the cost and surrounding obstacles.

P.S. I love this thread. The fantasy parks and the good-as-real cities that Korean parkmakers are building are absolutely amazing!
  • Dotrobot%s's Photo
thx for explaining all that to me!
  • Zenosbleed%s's Photo
    Thanks for the information!
and there is a good news : my park has almost finished, so I'll submit it in a few days or few weeks.

Awesome! I hope you have more projects on the way!

Apparently this is an old park, but I never saw it before. Very impressive.

This thread is everything I wanted the RCT community to be..

I guess I'm an old fart, because I do not understand the appeal of a predominant 'realistic' trend. Fantasy forever!
  • Liampie%s's Photo
Most refined architecture I've seen so far from a Korean, beautiful!
  • BelgianGuy%s's Photo
    can't see the link Liam...
Although I'd like to see what it is.
