    Gonna wait for a sale for RCT2 so I can start playing again, my old disk broke. And its been hard to do anything creative with my mental health going up and down like crazy (life's been pretty good though, don't worry)

    Well, you need a vanilla RCT2 installation to play OpenRCT2. But as long as there's an installation on the computer already, you shouldn't actually need the disc to play OpenRCT2.

    You don't even need to install RCT2 to be able to use OpenRCT2. Since OpenRCT2 is completely independent of the RCT2 executable, you can copy the installation directory without actually installing RCT2 and OpenRCT2 will work.
