Excellent work on the wood coaster.

I really liked this. The coaster was one of the best LL GCI's I have seen in a while. Theming was very well done, and the STR-esque water ride was a nice touch. I know you and Louis have some LL tricks up your sleeves and I look forward to seeing them.

...but not as much as I look forward to SFSF

For your first release using LL; Congo is very impressive. You're second to none at foliage and ride design, both the water ride and coaster have lovely, flowing layouts.

However when I take time to look over this I can't help feeling something isn't quite right and I think it is the architecture that hinders the overall impact of the map.

It all feels a little bit too messy and over done and doesn't really compliment the coaster here. I personally don't like the use of coaster stations for balconies, I prefer using rapids or mini golf as the track and station lights detract from the overall flow of the building. I also just can't focus on any focal points when looking at the station for EC (I think too much of the same colour with the roofs and paths) and it is kinda hard to work out the flow of the queue or where the exit and entrances are.

Away from the ride area I thought the storage buildings were nicely done and the doors were well executed. Also when zooming out and imagining this area as part of a full scale map it seems to make more sense and I would love to see you complete a full scale LL park. From your recent screens and guessing that this was finished over a month ago I think it is safe to assume that you've improved already from this design though, so I wouldn't worry about the small problems with the archy, and I can't wait to see more LL from you.

I don't think it was the archy. The surroundings had a very nice Sea World/Busch Gardens feel to it and the minimalist approach to surrounding helped aura. I loved the design layout(a step up in layout from the Comet mos def  ), though I agree that something felt missing. I think that the uniformity in the light color of the track and structure left it feeling kind of bare in places, a bit more theming scenery interaction along the coaster could have cured that problem, perhaps doing something around that first helix on the return trip. But that criticism is trivial; this was really outstanding. Kudos Robbie. - Vertex

Based on the aerial, the water ride reminds me of the new ride at Cedar Point, Shoot the Rapids.

YEAH YOU'RE WELCOME FOR THE WRITE-UP BUT dO THEM SUPPORTS FOR ME NOW OKAY?

    i'm serious.
-ly joking with that statement. but do them.

i wasn't really as eager as everyone else to get their noses nice and brown, but i really did like this. as it's your first release with this game, it's really interesting to think what you'll bring us in the future. really good work. get that bastard spotlight and be done with it.

Just a quick disclaimer: I sent this in around 1.5/2 months ago, and the majority of it was done around 3 or 4 months before that. The only thing that was fresh during the release was the water ride and the storage areas.

TPM pretty much echos my sentiments exactly here. Lovely flow and ride design but lacking in overall cohesiveness.

But its great to see someone else trying their hand at LL :)

Going to sound stupid, but my favorite thing in this mini park is the duck pond. I don't know if it was planed or not but this little pond with it's 20+ ducks in it really grabbed my attention. It just looks like a great place to sit down and have a picnic while at the park. This area along the the parks main attraction, great waster boat ride and well placed structures make this design a big winner in my eyes. http://kumba.parkmak...m/duck-pond.JPG

edit: how did I screw up posting the picture?, when I previewed it the first time it was there and now it just a link. :<img src=:' />

Well, it's hard for me to comment on an LL design without LL, but I will say that this looks like a great deal of thoguht and effort was put into it. The Shoot The Rapids ride looks fantasitc, and the woody has a really nice flow to it. The only thing I can criticize from the overview is the end of the coaster. Don't most GCI's end by going uphill into the breaks. Downhills into the brake run seem to be more typical of an Intamin. Correct me if I'm wrong (probably am). Nice work man. You're really quite the machine in terms of productivity.

Congrats man.. Not really my cup of tea, and it feels a little under themed.. I mean you could've done such a lot more with a congo theme, it now looks a bit boring to me..

Well done for finally getting this out. The layout alone is design worthy and it's backed up with some awesome surroundings.

I find it funny how everyone really likes the water ride, I think it's the weakest bit.

You have a really nice style but it's a bit messy here with the architecture, but I know that you now produce a more clean style. I really liked this, LLLL.

For some reason I don't ever remember this being released, maybe I just overlooked the generic name, but it looks fucking brilliant
    Really, everything about it

It has so much atmosphere and depth in my opinion
I think it'd be really interesting to see you build with older objects in RCT2, say the bench from Isole Calabria, I could see the results being magical

I like the theme, the layout Of the coasters and the landscaping of the park , the only thing that disturbs me is that the color of the surroundings is too much of Brown ( even if there are flowers it doesn't change the overall impact of the environment.) It will be much beautiful if you add custom bushes and different hues of brown like beige, tan , or ochre ( Or even green!( they also a good partner ) but overall the coasters are really good

^^Comet, see Excalibur. It's a design made from the PT2 bench I made back before NE4. If you like this, you'd probably like that.

Ha yeah I noticed that shortly after posting while looking through your parks page
I did like that as well, probably even more than Comet to be honest
