Just thought I'd say that FK's entry is the best in the whole contest so far, IMO. Honestly I feel the judges really don't "get" this entry.

First off I'd like to address the criticism of the foliage that "ends" at a certain height. In case all of you missed what a real mountain looks like, this entry is actually very accurate in terms of foliage density sequencing. I did a google image search of "mountain" and this was the very first hit, which is the same idea as FK's entry as far as I'm concerned.

Second, I'd like to say that the comments of the steep faces being "unnatural" is a much more valid complaint, but I think it helped represent the steepness mountain faces and rockwalls can exhibit. Sure, full-tile jagged rocks would've been "smoother" or whatnot, but that's been done a million times (anyone remember jaguarkid?) and still doesn't resolve the steepness issue. Here we see a totally different approach which is unique and works well. Through detailed 1/4 tile block work we get to see arches, diagonals, cut-ins, and other cool little features.

And third the coaster. This was definitely an addition that really helped hold my attention for much longer than any of the other entries. It reminds me of the some of the old scenario coasters that darted through the landscapes (Flaming Fury comes to mind). It looks like a blast to ride with amazing views of the surrounding area. I love it.

Overall I was really impressed by Fox Glacier. Keep it up FK, even if you don't make it into PT4. :mantis:

I mis-calculated the score for FK's entry in this round. I calculate each score twice so that mistakes aren't made, but sometimes they just happen. This has been rectified. FK's actual score is 69.00% not 61.00%

Belgianguy's entry looks nice. A little bit more attention to the transition to the cliffs would probally have given you the spot. But i know how hard it is to get that right.
    Nothing really special besides that.
