Making quarterblock landscapes look good is very hard - although that often is simply a matter of patience and dedication - and you did a remarkable job here. The mix of different textures is a bit too random in places, alongside places where it may be not random enough. I can't make sense of the pattern. But that's not necessarily a flaw in your screen, and by talking about it this much I'm already blowing it out of proportion. One thing I'm sure about, however, is that the 1k ruins are not working. They don't blend in, and too many face the same direction which looks silly. You're better off without them. Especially as you also have brown 1k ruins at the botom. Using 1k ruins in two colours in different functions usually is a big no no for me. Lastly, maybe scatter the weeds some more?

Excellent job man, you're SO much better with custom scenery than without them.

I agree with Liam about the 1k rocks. I feel like when you showed this on discord you didn't have nearly as many and overall the landscaping worked much better . If you vary the rocks up more then this will look great

There's something checkerboardy happening here. Try to group your colours into groups rather than using them to "dither". For example, throw some 1x1's and 2x2's even in there to, to break up the checkerboard effect, and add a sense of composition. Otherwise I love it though. The little creek is lovely.

Very nice! I love the interplay of the different levels, and the arrangement of the water theming pieces matches very closely how real ebb and flow would manifest. I'm also a fan of the more concentrated clumps of foliage (as opposed to the spamming method I'm so fond of).

I do agree with Angroc somewhat though. Streams create cuttings through sedimentary layers, and therefore you're much more likely to see contoured bands of different coloured rocks, as opposed to checkerboarding here and there.

    Lovely work :)

this design will be the present-day vulture.

the 1k ruins are a bit much tho.

The ruins ruin the feel of some of this a little bit. In the least, I'd change the colours of them, if remove them completely.

I would personally like to see a bit more foliage, but I guess that is a mere gripe. Lovely work otherwise!

Not a fan of the landscaping, but thats cause I don't like 1/4 tile landscaping. You've done a good job with it though.

Looking forward to seeing more of this.

Not the best screen you could have taken of this project !!

Feels more like a teaser. Can't wait to see the finished product :p !

Like the stream, like the landscaping, don't like the 1k ruins. Pretty much what everyone else has said. You are however improving massively.

    No ruins, rest looks nice.

Ruins will be removed from the mountainsides, and I will see what I can do about the checkerboard effect around the streams. This feedback is very useful since this map is a bit more geologically-focused than most.

I'm not too bothered by the ruins, actually. The best thing here though, in my mind, is the water ride lift going up into the hill diagonally. Just looks so good!

Is but a stream within a stream
but those 1k ruins are a nightmare, redo them

Rocks are a bit repetitive (yeah I know... ironic coming from me), but otherwise nice.

I don't care what they say about you.... one of the best streams ever posted!
