It's undeniably impressive but I can't help but think it's not quite perfect. Even if it's technically accurate it appears skewed or misaligned. This may be more of a result of RCT graphics/perspective than anything else, so I'm willing to hold full judgment until I see it with more context.

Nonetheless, cool screen! Wish the road held more interest though.

Yeah, I'm with Nin here: it's impressive, but it does seems 'off'... Actually when looked at it bit longer I started getting a bit of a headache xD Guess my brain tries to correct what my eyes are trying to see.

What the hell ! That's amazing.

The only thing that could make that screen perfect would be to change the sidewalks. It looks a bit too bright and clean compared to the brick road and it doesn't contrast in a good way with the rest of the buildings. In my opinion grey (or almost black) with a cool texture could work better.

Otherwise, everything else is genius and this is part of the bests creations we can see on this website.

Wild. I think the effect works especially well on that irregular building on the left. Amazing work.

My head hurts looking at this. Wow.

I'll mostly echo what others have said. Really impressive, meticulously put together and really shattering the angular grid expectations we're all used to. That doesn't bother me here, because while unusual on the eyes it also feels natural for the theme and focus of this work. But I could see it feeling weird in another context, so will be interesting to see non-urban work with those pieces.

I also agree, some more crunch would help, both on the roofs and the sidewalk level. Adding some texture, some dirt, some shading to show wear and tear, would help with some of the larger empty surfaces.

This screen is delicious. Personally, I love the look of this, it's far easier to critique the minor flaws than to try and commend everything great about the screen. Everyone above has already noted the slightly weaker parts of the screen, so I'll just let you know I think it's awesome.

    This is absolutely incredible.

Next level when I thought we were at the end of levels. Thanks Tolsimir.

I truly admire your struggle to break the rct grid game. keep it up man.

The archy really is awesome. I don't wanna be the party crasher, but i really wanna point out that i hope you'll be able to add enough movement when the park is going to be released or is this city in lockdown?

    I'm so confused

This is pretty incredible but the streets themselves do seem a little dead. Curious to check this out in game tho, non grid stuff is really intriguing and extremely well done.

So you've got some skill, diag king.
I don't even know what angle that is for the walls the top center building.
I see you add little details like the open window etc.. add more and more little things. Diagonal staircase for far left building? You can do diagonal benches, planters, F-it trashcans, too.
Request it, I will make you a diagonal peep. Nice work, bro.

    This is an amazing screen.

The middle building really messes with your head. Is that properly diagonal or a combination or dr dirts curves so it’s even further off diagonal?

Be interested to see how this looks from another angle.

Thank you for the nice comments!

Regarding missing life on the roads/sidewalks: obviously this will be added later. There will be also some kind of detailing session to add more life to the city. I just can't stand peeps while building. Also hoping for spacek to make me some kick ass 1930's vehicles.

Regarding the new diagonals: I think they work almost better than normal diagonals as those are missing some kind of depth while the 'half diagonals' really do give this imo. Also when being able to rotate the view it's of course a lot easier to get the '3D-image' of the buildings into your head - hopefully avoiding too much headache!

This is one of the most aesthetically and compositionally pleasing RCT screens I've ever seen.

Tols, this is an achievement. I would love to see the building process on that once it's released. Did you happen to record any of it?

Amazing... How many objects have you made? I would love to see the full set.
