RCT Discussion / NE Needs New Parkmakers

i guess for me a lot is riding on my PT. I "tested the waters" with my qualifying entries, but now that I have time on my side the park should be creative, skillful, fun to look at, and...good.

I'm considering covering all of the ground with yellow, aqua, purple, red, and blue 1/4 tile flowers.

I think the list is good about 1-12, then it starts going a bit random. I mean, there are parkmakers on this site who are producing some great stuff and deserve a place in front of the more average parkmakers on there. I won't say who I think shouldn't be on the list because it could start getting bitchy, but I think marshy deserves his place back among others.

Really though, I don't think anyone should be considered for parkmaker until they've released a full solo. Personally, my opinion is that when someone completes a full mapper, they should be considered. Until they've proven they can reach that goal, there's no point in them being considered for parkmaker. Call me controversial, but I don't think the pro tour 85x85 bench is enough. Especially with the added motive of becoming a parkmaker that's behind the competition.

well, i would agree for general parkmaker additions that you shouldn't add someone based on a well-executed gimmic or mini, but the whole point of entering the pt as a non-parkmaker is that there are GUARENTEED 2 parkmaker spots being given away, taking into account the pt qualifiers and the pt map.

yes! my sig worked you should just make him one he's got a full solo behined him and the PT entry was awsome. seems alot like cBass to me. after him it gets tight for the top 5 and so on i think you got good picks tho. nice to see leighx move up i love that park he released today, like half my team is on this list thats great

crap i keep falling, from #16 to #23. and i even tied with cBass in a poll for Non-parkmakers of the year, and with almost no club vote (they seem to hate me) my PT and BP should move me up a bit, i hope so or i may be wasteing my time at this site.

I'll second that as JKay has really shown some great stuff but the list is very solid and will be tough to make it. (heads back to NASCAR)

Darkfire should get more recogntion. He's incredible. If 2050AD was made by any other parkmaker, and was made to a full scale map, it would have/should have recieved a spotlight.

I think its the fact that I haven't released anything & that I'm not on the Pro Tour. Just give me two months.....I should have two releases by then, then we'll see.... There's no one on the list that isnt deserving, so I can't complain....

You really should be on that list JKay, many of those peepz on there are there because of screens that they've shown and you're definetly one of the best non-parkmakers around at the moment. You deserve a lot more credit than you currently get.
