RCT Discussion / NE Needs New Parkmakers

Like i said, I didn't have anyone particular in my mind when I made that comment...

Well, if you're going to say something like that then at least make sure it's accurate.

I agree that new parkmakers aren't a total necessity.

I agree it'd be nice to see more parks released.

I don't agree that the rct2 runner-up parks aren't deserving.

I'm looking forward to an increase in releases as the parks that were started a while a go slowly get finished - people seem to forget that there are a hell of a lot of parks that are close to completion at the moment. Bloody good ones, too.

This is off the topic here, but I was just wondering why people never look at my parks in the ad district. Help?

Probably because you keep complaining about it and trying to draw attention to yourself by doing ridiculous things like changing your name in hopes that will make people comment on your parks.

You should play RCT because you enjoy it, not because you're looking for some sort of recognition. Attention is a nice bonus, but it shouldn't be the only reason why you do something.


On the topic, NE seems to be doing well. Parkmakers are leaving, but lots of new people are coming in too. Things like this go in continous cycles, and the site is on the downward part of the cycle right now. It will come back up soon.

Well what can I do except complain? People simply don't look at my parks. And if i just carry on without saying or doing anything nobody will do anything. And how do you know why I play RCT? Twilight42, you get attention through good parks. Focus on them and not NE. You play the game for having fun of creation and not for recognition. If it's recognition you seek then I promise you you'll have an unenjoyable time at NE, like it has already started, kind of, hm?

Yes you should play for fun, but it's always nice to be recognized. Makes you feel good and more determined to make parks.

^I agree. Building a park you have fun with and getting high recognition is much funner than just getting recognition.

I was just wondering if the parkmaker committee is still being used? when cBass was made one no-one had posted their, so id assume iris picked himself or it was a per made choice? and Ed and Foozy both retired, maybe that has something to do with it?

anyways i hope that thing is still used. no matter how good someone is at finding skilled parkmakers IMO more voice's is better.
