    1989

This year we take a first step towards becoming an all-weather park, by adding an indoor haunted house. 'Villa Griezelstein' is our most expensive ride since The Cannon in 1983. Of all the mansions in Rozendaal (the neighbouring village), this one is the scariest by far!

Because of the successes from the past two years, we can afford to add another small ride in 1990. It will be situated between De Bedriegertjes, the restaurant and the new area:

very nice, i love that building! not sure about the roofs on the queue though. they dont blend in so well with the brown pirate roofs.

I like the foliage work here, with the attempt to tame the wilderness as it gets closer to the path.  The front of the building's looking nice too.  It doesn't exactly suggest haunted house to me, but that might just be because I'm used to them all looking the same, like an old Victorian mansion.  But this one is nice nonetheless.
