You guys REALLY think Turtle's park is better than RoB? Unreal. RoB has consistent quality throughout whereas my area in IC is a significant downside and has aged horribly. RoB objectively has NO weak spots. And the fact that IoE is still on the board is a whole other story.

 

Personally I think the entire Mayan area of ROB is a weak spot and it's huge. I've spent some time looking at the park lately trying to make myself "get" it and I'll admit that the area around Eversio Lemuria finally has me sipping the Kool Aid (and the premise is awesome) and the Asian area is growing on me too but I still think the park is overrated and the rest of the park isn't up to the quality of those 2 areas. I also think Eden looks like a complete mess.

 

Again, just my opinion.

A park isn't overrated just because you don't think it's great but the vast majority think that it is great. If anything, you are the outlier here.

^Bill that would imply that anything that is popular is overrated. Some people may not like it but it does not mean it is overrated just because many like it.

 

"Overrated" is a term that can only be applied to one (or a select few) individuals. It's not a term that's meant to be adopted as a consensus by a large group of people because then it wouldn't make sense. If everyone agreed that a specific thing was "overrated" then it's no longer "overrated" because everyone thinks it's mediocre and therefore it's appropriately rated.

 

If something wasn't highly rated by the consensus then how could it be "overrated". That makes no sense. The term is meant to be applied to one person's individual opinion.
